System for the analysis of pyrolysis products

Price on request

The analysis system for pyrolysis products, manufactured by NTF "BAKS," is an automated solution designed for the high-precision determination of the compositional makeup of gaseous—and, in an optional expanded configuration, liquid—products resulting from thermal decomposition. This equipment is used to monitor pyrolysis processes involving biomass, various organic substances, and both municipal and industrial waste. The instrument operates in a continuous, on-stream mode, providing real-time tracking of substance concentrations and instantaneous calculation of key physicochemical properties of the resulting synthesis gas.
Analytical Capabilities and Detected Components
Based on the "MAG" chromatograph, the system—available in both standard and optional configurations—enables the precise detection of a wide range of compounds:

Permanent gases: hydrogen (H2), nitrogen (N2), oxygen (O2), carbon monoxide (CO), and carbon dioxide (CO2);
Inorganic and corrosive impurities: water vapor (H2O) and hydrogen sulfide (H2S);
Saturated hydrocarbons: methane (CH4), ethane, propane, butane, pentane, and higher homologs (C5+);
Unsaturated hydrocarbons: ethylene, propylene, and butylene.
Simultaneously, the software automatically calculates critical parameters, including molar mass, density (absolute and relative), compressibility factor, higher/lower heating value (on a molar, mass, or volumetric basis), higher/lower Wobbe index, methane number, and the water dew point temperature. Composition and Design Features
The system is housed in a single, ergonomic, non-explosion-proof cabinet and features a modular architecture:

"MAG" Chromatograph: Includes a gas composition measurement unit with three analytical channels and a built-in electrochemical oxygen sensor. For the analysis of liquid fractions (tar, oils), the system can be optionally equipped with a liquid sample analysis unit, which includes a vaporizer and an additional fourth channel.
Sample Preparation and Distribution: A sample extraction and secondary preparation system, supplemented by a flow-switching unit. This enables the automated, sequential analysis of up to eight gas streams from various reactors.
Interface and Software: The system is operated via a bright, touchscreen LCD. It comes with advanced "Analiz.NET" (Analyzer.Network) software, which supports remote access to measurement archives and configuration settings via a web interface.
